Pre-College Prep Camps
|
SuperCamp provides two levels of pre-college camps. Senior Forum is your classic pre-college summer camp for students entering grades 9-12 in the fall. Quantum U provides pre-college preparation for incoming college freshmen (and it’s also open to current college students who want to ensure their college success). Here’s a quick look at our two pre-college preparation camps: Senior Forum: pre-college summer camps for students entering grades 9-12 in the fall These pre-college summer programs provide high school students with a range of powerful new learning skills that apply to all subject areas and help them with everything from SAT and ACT testing to writing college entrance exams. In addition, half our pre-college summer camp curriculum is focused on life skills that help prepare students for college with stronger communication, leadership and other interpersonal skills.
The impact of our pre-college summer programs is seen in studies conducted with SuperCamp graduates. A major research study undertaken with over 6,000 of our graduates showed gains in grades, self-esteem, confidence and motivation among the majority of students. In 2010, Quantum U is being held at Colorado College in Colorado Springs. Situated at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, the college is a beautiful and inspiring setting for all college-bound students, regardless of which school they’re about to attend. One of the major components of Quantum U is introducing the participants to the 8 Keys of Excellence. The 8 Keys provide a framework for success in all aspects of life, including school. Bobbi DePorter, president of SuperCamp and Quantum U, developed the 8 Keys nearly 30 years ago and they have helped tens of thousands of students and adults navigate life over the past three decades.
